Identity Verification Guide (KYC)
Optional ID verification earns a Verified badge — look for it before you reach out (not required on every profile).
1. Upload ID Card Image
Take a photo of your National ID card in good lighting. Ensure all textual details like ID number, name, and birthdate are fully readable and not blurry.
2. Take a Portrait Selfie
Take a clear portrait selfie without wearing hats, sunglasses, or anything that covers your face, to help verify against the ID card photo.
3. Automatic OCR & Verification
The iApp OCR engine parses card text automatically, and then passes the request to our system administrators to review and approve.
4. Earn Verified Member Badge
Once approved, your account instantly earns the periwinkle "Verified Member" badge, appearing on your profile and all roommate search listings.
Privacy & Security of Your DataAll ID cards and selfie logs submitted are encrypted and used solely for approval by authorized staff. They will never be shared publicly or shown to other users under any circumstances.
